Stoked. So frikkin happy to finally present what We had originally envisioned: a product worthy of your attention. 40% Human, the predecessor of 4d6, is finally here. For a limited time, the How-to-Play is completely free. The google sheets have been completely updated for the new system, and are ready for your use. We also have expanded greatly with his new version: It's cleaned up, smoothed over, polished and shined. Check out the new content, thanks for being here and coming back. Enjoy.
next on the agenda: Finishing the Expendables side of equipment, completing the Phantom 309 module pdf, prepping the next module "Path to Bearadise City" - an offbeat shenanigans of trying to get the best honey this side of the mountains. Stay tuned, things are happening
So some major revelations. the 4d6 system will soon be replaced with a new one - something much more in line with the nuances of TTRPGS. the 4d6 system is more advanced and extensive than originally intended, and the math is better suited for other partitions. That being said, the new variant will be coming rather soon. Equipment, Experience, Prestige and the basis for how abilities work and upgrade are all being revamped. The new variant will be much more in-line with the original goals of Keeping it Simple. There will still be a freemium version available for everyone - but it will be a skimmed down version (similar to how it is right now).
The How-to-Play module that is being created will be redesigned forth is new system in mind. Pocket full of Monsters may receive a small update to the monster stats, but is rather stable overall. The intention is to have both the release and the how-to-play module going live @RPG-A-THON for the 4d6 Phantom 309 exhibit. Also, the Phantom 309 module is being re-orchestrated to be more open for flow and time management.
Yes, lots of remaking and editing. I know its nuisance and a PITA, but it needs to be done for the future.
FOR THE FUTURE!!
Changes upon changes - We have manged to improve our budget allocation, and are in the midst of several different projects at once. Demiverse and Lyric are both being expanded upon profusely. A new artist has been hired to complete the Races artwork (check out the new Ave!), and two more artists have come on board for expanding our "Beastiary" into something with more meat and bones. At last count, we had over 150 unique creatures/monsters, and at the end of this artist batch should have close to 40 complete artworks (or more!).
The How-to-Play PDF is begin given priority, as we are partaking in a local event: RPG-A-THON. Our proprietary host, Wordsmith Ferden, will be available all weekend. Whether keeping trains on schedule or conducting a class on being a better GM/Player, the emphasis to improve our public relations is equal only to our project development. Without players, what are we even doing here? As such, we would be glad to see you there!
Also: It's getting pretty warm outside. Stay hydrated, get electrolytes, keep cool :D
So its a new year, and We have slowed down like anyone else during the Holiday Season. A bit behind schedule, the first publication "Pocket full of Monsters" has been released! You can download it right now, or just view the PDF in the downloads section (Link just below, and in the header.
The Members Section of Character Building has had a Major increase in content. Freemium needs an update, but is still available and stable. Not sure what the next part of this project is - I want to get started on the kickstarter soon, but maybe I need to finish a few other things first (like a Players Guide PDF).
We have a basic PDF Character sheet soon to be available as well. A Hand-drawn image (just above) should also be available to save and print, if desired. The "Classic" Sheet will eventually be re-released to match all the changes done back in October.
We have been growing! Analytics is showing visitors coming in and browsing around. If you're coming back or checking us out for the first time, we would be glad if you joined the discord! Give your input directly to the creators, or just hang out and watch us grow :)
The major mechanics have been overhauled, cleaned and polished. Damage is categorized, and terms of "how effects work and how long" have been fully established. A few things were scrapped due to complexity - and a few improvements made to remove ambiguity. The Freemium Version is now available, as well as the beginning of Social Media - including Patreon. Links below.
Note: Some terminology may still be subject to change, but the mathematics of the system and the character creation aspects are complete and stable. More content is constantly added, but it may not always be in the Freemium version.
It's still there, but still being worked on. Some things posted were far-future concepts. For now, We are focusing on finishing up the re-write, making updated and improved character sheets, and finishing the "beginning" modules - Phantom 309, Super Anime Z, and Once Upon a Fish. Again, free for use. Demiverse is being expanded upon thoroughly, creating a richer sandbox experience. Lyric is being processed further, with a new and much better introduction. An additional module, Nagi's Island, is also being developed for near-future use.
Pretty PDFs. Borders have been drawn and one of us is working to understand Graphic Design more intricately. As we grow and develop, we are unhappy with the current "products". A strong dedication to quality is being put on the forefront, with Quantity taking a backseat.
Priority being put towards:
- Beginners Guide (How to play) downloadble pdf
- Phantom 309 module
- Proto-characters and Pre-mades (6 at current)
- Character Sheet Update (available up above is the hand-drawn freemium page, free for use)
- Updating Website to show off things (it's harder than we would like to admit)
- Hiring artist to finish Races art
November was basically a lost month. Between sickness and finances and Life obiligations, productivity plummeted. We are getting back on track, but progress is slow during the holiday season. As the social medias have been established, we will begin adding content on multiple platforms. Small at first, with just a few creatures and things - but soon much more. There is a strong motivation to make a kickstarter, and many of the tools and materials have been procured already. The kickstarter goal will be to publish a magazine with not just the content available on this website, but a myriad of entertaining and thought-provoking delights. Most of the magazine will be Exclusive, unpublished content. Stretch goals are being decided, just in case things go crazy. Again, all proceedings in finances are used directly on the hiring of real people to do real work - artists, coders, editors, designers - nothing in life is free. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated, even if its just sharing this content or playing the game.
Thank you for your interest so far. Stick around, or check out our Links! (content may be lacking while we figure it all out, but the accounts are there and we appreciate interacting with you!)
This is the tipjar section. anything coming through this way is spent on snacks and fun stuff.
